The Volunteer System
The 2025 SLA Conference will be the first time that our association has handled such a large portion of the on-the-ground work of the conference through labor contributed by attendees. Thank you for helping to make this possible!
We expect this voluntarism both to reduce conference costs and—more importantly—to create new opportunities for members at very different stages in their careers to get to know one another through shared labor. We hope that you find the time you spend working for the conference to be fun.

The Volunteer Manual
This document covers all the major conference tasks. No volunteer needs this full document; after reading the introduction you can just flip to the section that pertains to your assigned volunteer role.
